1日1枚「きょうの水彩」47日目。コバルト系の絵具の毒性について調べてみた。
上のリンクを読むと「もともと体内にはごく微量のコバルトが必要。大量に飲み込む、大量に吸い込む、恒常的に肌で接触すると健康に悪い」と書いてある。大量に摂取した場合の主な症状は
- Cardiomyopathy (a problem where your heart becomes big and floppy and has problems pumping blood) 心筋症
- Deafness 難聴
- Nerve problems 神経の異常
- Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) 耳鳴り
- Thickening of the blood 血液の濃化
- Thyroid problems 甲状腺異常
...らしい。普通に絵の具として使う分には、大丈夫だと信じている。
